It was very-very close encounter by the two rivals. Eng have already leads the series by 1-0 and got another victory at The Oval full of crowd. Rain interrupted the game several times and England’s revised target was 218 runs in 43 over for victory. Middle order batsman Ravi Bopara played an anchor role at the crucial stage of the match. Bopara and all rounder Bresnan made 40 and 28 valuable runs for England. After winning the toss England decided to field first. India lost their first 5 wickets at 58. After that skipper Dhoni and all rounder Jadeja set a 112 runs partnership for 6 wickets. Dhoni made 69 runs while Jadeja 78 runs. Jadeja declared man of the match.
