Love Is A Crime

LAHORE, April 22 (Report: Waqas) In our corrupt societly, love is like comitting crime and if you have done love marriage then its like a serious crime that "INTERPOL" might be seeking if you left Pakistan after marriage otherwise you could be murdered. Yesterday LHC (Lahore High Court) has directed the interior ministry and IGP (Punjab) to submit the names of accused repatriated to Pakistan with the help of Interpol during the last three months after hearing the petition.

Petitioner Muhammad Hanif through his counsel Sarfraz Cheema submitted that his son Muhammad Shiraz Hanif had contracted marriage with Hina Akram, the daughter of Rana Akram on May 11, 2007 against her family's will.

After marriage, the girlís father made the lives of Shiraz and his family miserable, his household articles were looted by police officials and number of times the petitioner was given severs beating by police on one pretext or the other. He alleged that Inspector Ibrar Shah had conducted raids at his house.

Justice MA Zafar passed this order after it was informed to him that the police is brining back from UAE a person namely Muhammad Sheraz Hanif, who was allegedly involved in a dacoity, to take revenge on him for contracting marriage with the daughter of an influential person.

The court further sought replies from the Interior Ministry and IGP along with incriminating material on the basis of which Sheraz is being repatriated through Interpol. The judge also called personal appearance of advocate general Punjab, Deputy Attorney General, Inspector Ibrar Shah and SI Khadim Hussain along with reports and comments on April 28.

In Pakistan you can loot a bank, murder someone and commit other small crimes but never contract love marriage.
