Waqas 48 Posted May 18, 2009 ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Babar Awan said that nation was proud of its valiant soldiers like Shaheed Captain Najam Riaz. He stated this during his visit to the residence of Shaheed Captain Najam Riaz to offer condolences with his family member here at Kahuta Moza Gilor. Shaheed Captain Najam Riaz embraced Shahdaat while fighting the terrorists in Swat in the defence of the motherland. Babar Awan said that nation has lost a brave soldier and his loss is not only for his family but for the entire Pakistani nation. "The nation is really proud of the bravery of Shaheed Captain Najam Riaz and nation also salute him", he remarked. Awan assured the Shaheed family members that government would continue to help them and do whatever possible for the welfare of the members of the family. The parents of the Shaheed Captain Najam Riaz on the occasion appealed the government that a Cadet College in the name of their Shaheed son be established in the area in recognition of his services to the nation.
