Waqas 48 Posted May 18, 2009 KARACHI: The fourth consignment of relief goods for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the NWFP province has been dispatched by the Corps Headquarters Karachi here on Monday. It is worth mentioning that Pak Army has already announced their one-day pay and giving part of its daily ration (items of daily use food: wheat flour, sugar, ghee and lentils), to help the IDPs. The food items so provided will be able to feed about 80000 adults daily. Pak Army has also set up two field hospitals and placed medical resources in all IDP camps. The relief goods sent through a PAF C-130 aircraft today comprise eatables and items of daily use.
