Waqas 48 Posted May 18, 2009 ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that all political parties have fully supported the ongoing military offensive against the insurgents in Swat. Addressing a news conference here on Monday, he said: “All parties have unanimously approved a resolution in favour of the Swat operation.” The minister said that the parliamentary leaders of almost all political parties attended the all parties’ conference (APC) convened by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani about Swat operation. “In his opening address, the prime minister announced that armed forces would remain in Malakand Division till restoration of peace,” Kaira said.
