Gilani says militants forced to take extreme measure

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said militants by challenging the writ of state forced government to take extreme measure and they didn’t left any choice except military action.

Addressing Ulema and Mashaikh conference, Premier Gilani said All Parties Conference was a show of national unity. Government needs nation’s support in this tough time. Islam is a religion of peace and harmon and has nothing to do with extremism.

He said Swatis making scarifies for Pakistan, therefore, it is our responsibility as a nation to send them message that the whole country is standing behind them. Nation should help them generously.

About drone attacks, prime minister said these attacks damaging military operation and political process.
