IDPs’ registration continues in various cities

ISLAMABAD: The government of NWFP is registering the internally displaced persons of Malakand region in various cities of the province.

So far, 2, 06100 families have been registered outside the relief camps, which comprise of more than 1.6 millions.

According to data released by the Social Welfare department, there are nearly 42766 displaced families in District Swabi. In Mardan, number of registered families has reached 1, 17000.

Besides, 12872 families have been registered in Charsadda. While 22244 displaces families have been registered at various camps in the provincial capital.
