Waqas 48 Posted May 20, 2009 ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed the resolve that every possible step will be taken for the rehabilitation of the internally displaced persons of Malakand region. The president said that there was no option of defeat in an ongoing fight against the militants, adding that we will win the battle at every cost. President Zardari said that the government would provide Rs8 billion to the affected persons of Swat.“ The IDPs have set an unprecedented example for the country’s survival,” he added. Zardari announced that Rs25, 000 would be given to every affected family by the government. The president further said that the IDPs would be provided soft loans too.
