Waqas 48 Posted May 21, 2009 LAHORE: Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower Syed Khursheed Shah Thursday ruled out the possibility of bringing and end to the load-shedding by December this year, saying it would require more time. He said this while talking to media here at the zonal office of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. The Minister said about four to five megawatts of additional electricity will be produced by December 2009 while 2000 MW more will be generated by June next year and 1500 additional by December 2010. However, it is not possible to end the load-shedding by December this year, he said. “We are also going for Thar Coal and windmill projects, but their results will not begin to surface before 2010,” he added.
