Waqas 48 Posted May 21, 2009 ISLAMABAD: Water and Power Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has maintained that electricity loadsheddig will end by December this year. Addressing a convention here on Thursday, the federal minister said that electricity was being generated through coal and solar energy. “With the addition of 3500 MW of electricity into the system, the ongoing power crisis will end in December,” Ashraf said. He stated that employees would be taken to the task on power showing. And announced two annual bonuses for the workers of the Islamabad Electric Supply Corporation (IESCO).
