Waqas 48 Posted May 26, 2009 LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, said on Tuesday that a dictator had locked the Supreme Court in the past. But added that today’s decision was given by an independent and sovereign judiciary. Speaking to reporters following the SC decision here, the chief minister said: “Our job is to solve all the problems being faced by the people.” The current judges could provide justice to the masses, he said and added that people should have access to social and economic justice. Shahbaz further said that the government would provide social justice to the people with its full force. Nawaz Sharif, he said, would play his role in the Parliament.
