Waqas 48 Posted May 28, 2009 SWAT: Curfew remained imposed in upper parts of Swat forced 0.2 million people to stay at their homes. Two weeks of curfew imposed in troubled areas of Swat created shortage of food and medicines, as all key roads are remained sealed. Pakistan army started supplying food items in these areas; however, the aid could only be reached to roadside settlements and 70 percent of population still facing shortage of food and other essential items. Nazim Bahrain Muhammad Zameen while talking to Geo News has urged government to give relaxation in curfew so that local trades arrange essential items from Buttkhela, Mingora and other cities and also people move to safer places.
