Waqas 48 Posted May 30, 2009 FAISALABAD: The leader of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Liaquat Baloch, terming the ongoing army offensive in Swat and Malakand Division as illegal and heinous act, said this operation is destabilizing Pakistan. He was talking to the gathering of JI activists here at Central Office on Friday. He said army operation can hardly prove result-oriented. “Why our intelligence and law enforcement agencies have failed so far in dismantling the supply lines of Taliban if claims are being surfaced that militants are being provided arms and ammunition from outside country”, he questioned. He linked that the military offensive was launched with the directives of United States adding that the hardships being faced by IDPs at the relief camps in Mardan and Swabi areas are unbearable. Baloch was also unhappy with the performance of ANP, the Pakhton party, which he held responsible for displacing over 2.5 million people of Peshawar.
