Waqas 48 Posted June 2, 2009 DIR LOWER: The security forces claimed extending their control to the Kalpani area of tehsil Medan of Dir Lower on Tuesday. According to operation in-charge Major Ilyas, the migrated people can return their home with no fear whatsoever. He said the successful operations of security forces are underway in Medan and Adezai tehisls wherein forces, amid of search operation, have killed a chief commander of militants while disposing of six bombs. Ilyas said security forces have managed to clear Klapani area of Taliban taking control of Medan tehisl and displaced persons can get back to their homes.
