Waqas 48 Posted November 2, 2009 ISLAMABAD: A high-level meeting of PPP, held in presidency on late Monday, has resolved not to present NRO in parliament, meanwhile, president Asif Ali Zardari held separate sittings with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Molana Fazl-ur-Rehman and Dr. Farooq Sattar to discuss NRO, Geo news reported on Monday. According to presidency spokesman, the decision of not sending NRO into parliament for seeking its ratification came during high-level meeting of PPP here at presidency late on Monday. The meeting was jointly presided over by PM Gilani and President Zardari. He said the meeting resolved provision of extension to PM Gilani’s stance of not bringing NRO in parliament, which PM Gilnai did in National Assembly. Both PM and President had separate consultations, over presentation of NRO, with leaders from coalition parties before PPP’s meeting at presidency. Earlier, President hosted dinner in honor of PPP and coalition parties’ leaders, sources said. Addressing the political leaders, president Zardari said matters are being politicized to conceal facts from eyes of people, adding, “I believe in power of people and want to take onboard all political leaders, people of Pakistan and parliament over all internal and foreign issues”. Abu_Hanzala 2 Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) This dummy parliament neither resolved any issue before nor they can resolve any issue now. So Zardari did the right thing, not to present NRO in parliament. These parliamentarians can only argue and fight in the assembly over nothing. So this way Zardari atleast saved himself from being held for the eleven FIR filed against him. I also believe that the current way of electing members is not Islamic so a non Islamic elected government can't do anything but eat and collect money as much as they can in five years only if they stay for five years. In Islam there is concept of Khilafah and Imarah not the current democaratic system in which a member goes infront of people and ask them to choose him as the leader. Islam strictly disallowed this act thats why when Khulafa Rashideen were choosen as the Ameers they started crying for the responsibilty being put on their shoulders. They didnt go to anyone to choose them as a leader of a country!! They were choosen Ameer for the whole muslim ummah and thats the only way which can save we muslims in current crisis. Why do we expect a good thing from these theives who have been stealing Public money from the decades....
