Waqas 48 Posted November 6, 2010 SUKKAR: A nine-year girl died of dengue fever, as more 41 patients were admitted to various hospitals under suspicion of suffering dengue fever in Sindh during the last 24 hours, Geo News reported Saturday.According to Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh, the deceased girl Rabel daughter of Akbar belonged to taluka Panu Aqil; she was admitted to the hospital only a day back. This Sukkar death took the dengue-caused toll in Sindh to 19 during the current year.According to the Cell, the number of patients under treatment for dengue fever at various government and private hospitals in the province, mounted to 270.According to the Cell, at least 2,479 out of 4,119 cases reported thus far in the current year, were confirmed for dengue virus.
