Awan says ‘my entry can’t be banned in Punjab’

11-28-2010_75015_l.gifFAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Law Babar Awan has said that those who speak about banning my entry in Punjab cannot stop me from entering any district across Punjab, Geo News reported Sunday.Addressing the party activists on the 43rd Foundation Day of PPP here, Babar Awan said PPP leaders would never opt for fleeing country for fear of arrest.Grilling PML-N’s attitude towards Pervez Musharraf, Babar said PML-N sought apology from former president Musharraf for survival of political career and, PPP, however, dethroned the dictator from Presidency.“PPP has always encountered dictators like it did against Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan and Zia-ul-Haq,” Babar maintained.He urged PML-N to sell sugar at Rs.40/kg to abide by Supreme Court (SC)’s verdict, which the apex court declared on the issue of sugar price hike.Even, Shareef Brothers did not pay heed to SC’s order in selling sugar from their mills, he alleged.
