FOÂ’s conduct over Davis status puzzles Qureshi

2-19-2011_78467_l.jpgISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, seemingly surfacing yet another time to multiply already tainted government’s problems, has again voiced grave concerns over Foreign Office’s conduct in connection with declaration of Raymond Davis status as diplomat, Geo News reported Friday.Revealing to Geo News’ correspondent Arshad Waheed Chaudhry that Foreign Office had briefed him in details over status of US double murder suspect, Raymond Davis, in Pakistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, ascertained that FO needed not more time for making public the status of the accused.“Asking three more weeks from Lahore High Court (LHC) to declare status of Raymond Davis has posed a big question mark over conduct of Foreign Office in this issue,” Qureshi said.He said that he did not yearn to become complainant in Davis case but expressed agreement to speak the truth before LHC if the court felt necessary.
