یخ سردی میں ںنگے پاؤں دن بھر ہر بڑی گاڑی والے "صاب" کو امید

بھری نگاہوں سے تکتا یہ اور اس جیسے ہزاروں بچے رات جب بستر پر سوتے ہیں تونم آنکھوں سے فریاد کرتے ہیں-

اے اہل وطن !

یہ ہی زندگی ہے تو کیا زندگی ہے۔۔۔

کہیں راکھ بن کر سلگتی رہی ہے۔۔۔

کہیں درد و غم سے بلکتی رہی ہے

کہیں اشک بن کے برستی رہی۔۔۔

کہیں لمحہ لمحہ ترستی رہی۔۔

کہیں یہ غریبی میں جلتی رہی ہے

کہیں چند سکوں میں بکتی رہی ہے

کہیں حادثوں سے گزرتی رہی

کہیں موت کے ڈر سے ڈرتی رہی ہے

Kevin Carter took this photograph in southern Sudan in the year 1993. The picture would later bring him the Pulitzer prize, but also death. The image shows a vulture waiting for a child to starve to death. This horrific sight affected the photographer so deeply that he committed suicide after winning the Pulitzer Prize on July 27, 1994.

A portions of Carter's suicide note read: "I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners ... I have gone to join Ken [recently deceased colleague Ken Oosterbroek] if I am that lucky.

Zimdagi wakai jeenay ka naam hai kbi kbi kisi ko mar kr aur kbi apnay ap ko maar kr ........ Hr din nae jidojehad aur nae koshish is life .... For some its easy as a piece of cake but for others it can b so hard ....
