New Community Features - An Overview

So we have upgraded the community, and most of you might have this question in mind.. Whatz in it for us?

besides the added security features and a new eay user interface, you'll get

1. More easy to use My Controls ( your personal Control Panel )
   
2. Ability to manage attachments (with the attachments manager in My Controls)
   
3. Creates thumbnails (smaller images) of the uploaded images so that they can be easily downloaded to computers with slow internet speed. Upon clicking on the thumbnails you will be taken to the FULL SIZE IMAGE (thumbnails are created for images larger then 300 px width and 300 px height)
   
4. A sleak low-fi version (see the bottom of the page for link) that will show all the forums, posts and replies without the HEAVY graphix, good for those members who only wish to read topics, posts, replies but can't load the heavy graphix bcoz of slow speed or restrictions.
   
   
5. Three topic view options - OUTLINE, STANDARD and LINEAR+ for reading a topic. Standard is used by default while outline is cool for bandwidth-savvy, slow connection users like me.
   
   
6. Daily Digest - a cool feature for all those users, like me, who have subscribed to many topics and posts. Tired of too many "Topic Subscription Reply Notification" alerts from community? Switch to the new Daily Digest feature and it will send out a single email in 24 hrs time containing details of all the subscribed topics and forums... cool, ha na?
   
7. IGNORE USERS Feature - using this feature you can ignore one or more members (but not admins) and their topics/replies will not be shown to you while u browse the community (requires you to be logged in the community while browsing)
   
8. Smart SHOW the LINK to this POST feature, when clicked, shows the full address (URL) of the post. You can copy it and send it off to your friends via email or on Messenger.
   Example:

9. New Smart Calendar
   
10. Advanced searching options to search in posts also
    
11. More advanced profiles
    
12. New BB Codes to ease in posting
    
13. Subscription Manager (coming very soon) - allows the users to send us donations to keep running this website using an online subscripotions manager. Plus we will give extra features to pro (donators) users as a thank you .

Hi

i m having some different kind of problem like i logged in as cuteleo similarly forum page mujhe latest display nahi hota infact main khud jis topic main reply kerti hoon woh bhi nazar nahi atti refresh kerne pe new replies milte hain what r the reasons behind these problem n i let u know my net service is quite better so these problems r not cause of service i guess

Thanks Asim but the problem is that mere paas fresh page display nahi hota like abhi main ai hoon to kal raat ki hi posts hain refresh kerne pe new posts milti hain

oh, so that is the problem :) its simple ur ISP is the problem...

it is caching (storing) old version of the pages... try refreshing the page while holding down the CTRL key on Internet Explorer and SHIFT Key if in Netscape.

Change ur ISP, it might be fast but its fast bcoz it stores pages on its local server rather then bringing the fresh copy form our servers... it will solve the problem for Good
