What Do U Like In Classics?

Recommended Posts

Sitar is tough to play !?!?!?! hmmmm…… I’ll learn it when I get time.

Im 18 years n 3 months old……I haven’t calculated days yet :D .

yeah Im not from this world…Im an alien from Mars :alien: ….. hehehehe

I’ve read the translation of these Persian poets’ kalam along with original Farsi text.

I’m not good at Persian, still I’m learning it….. but I can read  some easy poetry n text with the help of Farsi Dictionary…. My father too, is learning Persian…. But his Persian is much better than mine. n I’ll say if u have an opportunity to learn Persian by ur father then y don’t u learn it from ur father it’ll be easier than u learn it from some teacher.

Persian is much similar to Urdu n is very easy to learn for those ppl who r good at Urdu coz it contains so many Persians words n phrases.

If u wanna read rubaiyat of Omer Khayyam n Hafiz Shirazi I can give a website’s link…. It also has it’s translations in English n German. There is also links of Rumi, Devan-a-Hafiz, Shahriar Shahriari n Zarathushtra in it.

R u a student of history?? Waisey….. Im not a student of history formally but I study it additionally.

well, do learn it. Sitar is really nice instruement. But, I would Prefer Violin, that I will do, Inshallah.

Wow, :o 18 and 3 months, still in Teenage. I can't believe it. You read all this stuff in just 18 yrs(if you started from ist day) <_< hahahhhh Really gr8 knowledge.

Yes, you can be from Mars only, as many new ones dont like the kind of stuff you are talking about. they not only hate it but, also degrade it. How many of us have ever tried to study the Islamic History in detail? or Greek, roman, Persia, only few of us, and many are inspired by Holly wood Movies. Who read Hafiz and Roomi, only the Oldies.

That is why you are from Mars.

Yes, Persion is a beautiful language and as my father used to say"zuban-e-Shirin'" I don't know I wrote it right. it's easy yes. But, the problem with me is I have a Bundle of things planned in my life, and at times I think I won't be able to make it, but you know, Engineers are made to never Give Up. Learning Persion is one of that along with Arabic. I do like history and like to learn about different cultures and Languages.

hahahah, Learning from my father, I can't atleast at the time being. As he is about 300Km away from me and I just go on weekends to meet him. When he tried to teach me, I wasn't interested, and now I want to know all that Sufi knowledge in Persioan and I don't have in my Planner to get time to do that. This hapens and I'll do something to learn a bit.

Thnx for the link, there are many other links. But, you know the real charm is to get read the Original text and then you know the beauty of words and thought. Translations are just what they say light to show the way, if you dont know where your destiny is.

No, certainly not, How can we be the Student of History in this age. When everyone is pushed to dream about Engineering, Medical, Jet Fighter pilot. I am no different than that.

I am in Final year of My Engineering. And, recently in a year or so I realized that I love History, probably It was in my genes, along with love for art, literature and poetry.

It seems that u haven’t met an intelligent person before <_< ….. that’s y u r considering me an alien :P .

y r u astonished to know that Im 18…. Do u think that all teenagers r stupid n duffer :angry2: …..

mmmm yeah bro u r right, new ones don’t wanna read books though they can waste many hours in watching TV, chatting or something like this fit to the new age. But still there exists some ppl those r crazy about seeking knowledge, who like reading books n learning different things instead of wasting their time n Im one of those crazy ppl.

But I don’t agree that only old ppl read books, even in new age there r some ppl who remain stick to books. But unfortunately such kind of ppl r very few.

n about me…. I might have a high IQ level(my teachers say that), intelligence is Got gifted but it’s my own choice how I use my mind, I have been reading books since my childhood but I didn’t start from literature or some intellectual books, I started from kids stories n magazines, gradually my insight developed n I started reading classy stuff.

I have met some super intelligent persons, that’s the reason I never felt myself odd one out. yeah but ppl around me assume me someone “incredibleâ€â€¦.. I don’t mind if they consider me amazing…. Who doesn’t like to be praised :D ….

Well, Are you Talking about

Richard Marx

My mother came to Hazard when I was just seven

Even then the folks in town said with prejudiced eyes

That boy's not right

Three years ago when I came to know Mary

First time that someone looked beyond the rumors and the lies

And saw the man inside

We used to walk down by the river

She loved to watch the sun go down

We used to walk along the river

And dream our way out of this town

...................................

.............................

....................

You know everyone says I should be Afraid of you.....

I love This song.................. Hazard

How can I neglect his Name from my fav.
