cooooolll 0 Posted February 27, 2003 salam i ve something to share with u all....... TO THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD This is the story that must be told of an Iraqi baby, not very old. Lying in her crib one star lit night How could she know of those planes in flight? She lay there quietly touching her nose, Watching her mobile, wiggling her toes, Oohing and cooing, so sweetly is she, Talking to someone, who could it be? An angel is standing with her in the room. The baby is smiling, unaware of her doom. The crib starts to shake and the mobile goes round. And suddenly comes a most deafening sound. The ceiling drops in, in a second or two ... On top of her crib so she ceases to coo ... No one knows how long she lie there Who thought about it? doesn't anyone care? Is she alive? is she dead? Is she in any pain? Now that you mention it, who knows her name? Her name is Amal. In English we say Hope. Crushed between the rubble,her tiny fingers start to grope. Where is my mommy? I love her so dear Come, get me mommy! It's dark in here! I'm scared and I'm hungry and I can't see my feet. There's blood in my mouth! Give me something to eat! Where is my daddy? Where's my big brother? It hurts when I breath! Where is my mother?! How long have I been here? Is this just a dream? I open my mouth, but can't even scream. That angel appears once again to my side, This time with a tear I plead Why have I died? Am I alone in my sufferings? No, there are many others. In our grief and our misery, we are sisters and brothers. Who are we? I ask you ... for what crime did we die? They're throwing a party! Doesn't anyone cry?! Is it True? Am I nothing?! How could it be? Don't they also have babies, just like me? It is war they say, of which death is part. How blind they've become, How hardened of heart. Did someone say hero? To whom do they speak? A victory claimed for killing the weak?! Why are they happy? Why are they proud? Don't they know that I'm cold in my burial shroud?! How can we help these poor souls who are helpless in their own country.. when we dont even acknowledge that these problems/situations exist? And there is a hidden lesson in it. U know what I liked the best abt this poem.. the line where it said " To whom they speak? A victory claimed by killing the weak " That is so true! I pray for all those innocent ppl who r dying everyday because of this whole war goin on. But u know what I think ..... There is no ghairat in Muslim coutries. Muslim countries are being beaten by non Muslims and we r just sitting there..... staring at what's goin on . doin nutthing...... Well when exactly are we goin to use our brains? U know everything das goin on..... war against Iraq..... war against Afghanistan n in future it's probably against pakistan because we got nuclear weapons... nobody is doin nutthin abt it. How long is it gonna last. When r we gonna get up? n go against "their" faces? When? when all Muslims are dead? n we once again become slaves of America n Britain? Sum1 tell me.. plz...... petarian93 0 Posted February 28, 2003 HELLO TO ALL I AFTER READING THE WHOLE REALITY, HAVING GREAT FEELINGS IN MY MIND,BODY AND IN MY SOUL TO DO SOME THING, FOR NOT ONLY THOSE WHO R NEEDY BUT FOR THOSE WHO R HELPLESS (NEEDY IN THE SENSE THAT THOSE THEY HAVE NO WAY AND HELPLESS MEANS THAT THEY HAVE THE WAY THE R HELPLESS.....I,LL TELL U PPL LATER)... AFTERALL I THINK IT ISN,T OUR FAULT/MISTAKE BUT IT IS A FACT i.e. some people have made this their earning source they use to awake(or i am getting the right word for that) social evils/crimes/things which creates ne disturbance between countries/cities etc. WELL ABOVE ARE MY VIEWS IF I WILL B HONOURED FOR DOING NETHING FOR THEM I,LL FEEL HAPY. cooooolll 0 Posted March 27, 2003 :hi: im fine....nice to see u here as well u r right only innocent ppl die when america attacks any country bcoz they r the real targets of the american army!...they r fond of killing civilians......in japan the atom bombs were throwen on the innocent ppl not on the japenese army......and similarly in vietnam they used biochemical weapons , and civilians were the victims....same thing happened in afghanistan and now its iraq's turn for the second time Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Shabo 0 Posted March 28, 2003 True say Cooooolll.... its like recently the Allies bombed an Iraqi market place and assasinated many civilians...then turned round and said it was not intentional.... in the mean time so many innocent lives have been lost. Bugs 0 Posted March 28, 2003 well i have all replies and ur post budy ,i can say only htis ppl that we can make ourselves righteous ppl ,cause the way the ppl r the way their rulers r and nations have to sufferfor their doins,i feel sorry for them as a muslim and pray for them,but first we need to make our selves good ppl and strong then we can help others. as faris pak is concerned by the grace of gosd we have enough fire power to defend and take attack back to the invaders trust in god and have faith ,victory wiilb ours.
