The cricket team is a dirtly spot on our country And i think that they should not be allowed to play any matches in Future. I mean playing as a game kee had tuk to theek hai but world cup and all that. Its bs. And for u Bugs.. dear fren I am so not satisfied wid Waqar's performance. I think they shud kick him out of the team. As I sed before in one of my posts, he doesn't have any leadership qualities. Anyway that's my way of thinking. I don't know abt u guys. Cricket is a fun game but we shud not give it that importance in our lives. I mean there are a lot of other things goin on around us. Why waste time on cricket? Rite? K bye u guys. Tata ya'll. Bugs 0 Posted March 16, 2003 saw what u ppl wrote that cricket should not b given imporatnce but i believe our teem played with our emotions and especially againt india when stakes r so high n u give such a shitty performance,they should b accountable for that. for soem ppl cricket is a passion and for some its game but when there is case indo pak match i dont htink its a game do u ppl think that. And I was really disappointed wid their performance. I bet a lot of money on that game wid two Indian guys and guess what I lost afcourse. I am sooooooo disappointed. Yar idher bohat baizeti (idher means USA) howee, couple of friends are from india and i couldnt go to college for 2 days. Pakistani team needs to be overhauled Inzi, Afridi, Saeed should be kicked out, wasim should leave and Waqar should find a shallow grave and bury himself. to go as far as to stop pakistanis from playing cricket would be nothing less then a massacre. But u know what this whole experience taught me one thing i-e gambling is baaaaaaaaaaaddddddddd! hai na? But still I am very stubborn and I don't learn from my mistakes. shobi 0 Posted March 19, 2003 m agree with ooky as WAQAR has no capabilities as a captain. he has no place in the team but he was introdued as a captain merely coz of some high authorities favoured him alot, so as a result we r out from wc in first phase. instead of it board must trust on wasim , if it is so then the whole complexion will be changed. but alas it is a fact &we have to accept it but keeping in view the future of cricket in pakistan. i think youngster must be intoduced in the team as a replacements of senoir player. with best wishes shobi Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

shobi 0 Posted March 21, 2003 aslamoalekum, i know that decision is now been taken but i was wondering rather i am still wondering is opting for latif as captain the right choice? according to me what they should hav done is that they should see out of the present squad how many players can play at their top fitness level and performance till next world cup i.e. 2007 and i really doubt that latif or for that matter any senior players would b able to do that which includes wasim waqar shoaib (not bcoz he is old but he has ego problems and lacks stamina) saeed bhai inzi latif moin afridi (coz i don't regard him as a international player he is a "gali mohalla" player) i'm not against any of the above player coz in their era they hav played superb cricket and hav won quite a lot of matches for Pakistan but now we should bid them farewell and give an opportunity to new blood and properly train them for next wrold cup .....as far as electing a captain i would suggest Taufiq Umar or Shoaib Malik or Hassan Raza.....coz these three do hav the attitude, the will, and the guts of taking the responsibilty comon yaar look at South Africa they names Smith the captain who has hardly played 60 or 70 odd matches just bcoz he had the ability to handle the team ......leadership does not require any experience from where i see it the decision of latif as captain is absolutely wrong ......it doesn't really matter whether he wins series now i will still say he is wrong coz how long can he play another year or 1.5 year max than what then we would hav to train another keeper so what will b the use? its a pity that we never learn from our mistakes ....lets just hope and pray best for our team and go on supporting them waiting for criticism and views Allah hafiz Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cooooolll 0 Posted March 21, 2003 salam well i really enjoyed sum luvly comments from u all....... just kick that fat hen i mean tauqir zia out ....and things will be alright........he just wants his son junaid zia in the team and thats y he is destroying our team.... he came in .. after the WC 99 ......and we were the runner ups in that world cup.....and look what he did to our team.....our players r no more confident....and r losing almost each and every match!.......i can give u the names of so many players ....the players who suffered ....who came in the team as great young talent......and now where r those young players??.......when we talk abt young players....they only take a few names like Imran Nazir.....and u know what that player does? the same thing that afridi is fond of.......what abt Naveed Qureshi who scored a century on his debut?....we need proper players ..... we don't need sloggers! and one thing more i don't agree with sum of u who said that Wasim shud leave just take a look at the recent WC......who took the most wkts from Pakistan?.....he is still giving us break thru's .....and i saw him bowling at 143km/hr...which is alot faster than many bowlers in the world.....and mind u speed is not everything....shoaib is a perfect example of that!....when his line is right .....he takes wkts....when its not ....no matter how fast he bowls......he can go for 72 runs against a side like india who r not very good players of fast bowling!....just imagine what wud happen when he bowls like that against the aussies ...... so what i think is ....wasim still has a lot to offer....and we shud make full use of it.....youngsters can learn alot from him....while playing with him......
