You know Surah Feel (elephant), Dog is discussed in Ashab e Kahaf, Fish Prophet Musa (PBUH) and Khazar (AS), Hood Hood events of Prophet Suliman (PBUH).

Best and easiest way is to recite few Ayat with translation (if possible get some Tasfeer) everyday.

Mosquito:

So as to make it easy for the people to understand, Quran uses simple examples. These sometimes include smallest n weakest creatures like Mosquito, Fly, Spider etc.

The disobedient people (Al-Fasiqun) would make joke of this by saying that why is God talking about so much disgraced things thereby ignoring the fact that even the creatures that we consider The Lowest, have wonderful aptitudes e.g. Spider. Thus their narrow mindedness shuts their eyes to God's signs and they get mislead.

The believers confirm it to be the Truth and are thus guided by thier God.
