Read explaination of Ayah 52-53 of Surah Al-Baqra.

Also at another place "Man Bad ma Ahlakna alquroon Alaa.. " i.e After destroying previous peoles we gave Mosa a Book ...."

Hadeeth says number of Rasool are 310 plus few. (it is more than 310 and less than 315) Only Allah knows the real number.

You are Right. It is not in the start of Surah Toba, but it is present inside surah Infal.
