This is a msg for Rukh, and all those who agree w/his/her response on the issue of Kashmir. This dispute is an ongoing process, neither India nor Pakistan or any other country/power can resolve this in a fairly manner. This should be left on the people of Kashmir, it's their country, they have the right to be free and not owned by either Pakistan or India. And another thing, ppl like Nawaz Sharif who brought Pakistan down to a point of recession, should never be praised, all you guys who think Musharraf sided w/the US and left Afghanistan alone, well do you know how much pressure he was under!!!! do you know wut would've happened to your country if he did not side with the US? that means we'd be like Afghanistan/Iraq, we would be in ruins! Musharraf saved this country from going into furthure recession, he is doing what is best for his country and it's people, ofcourse as long as the ppl of Pakistan keep listening to extermist groups/parties in Pakistan, this country will have no future! It makes me so angry to see so many ppl thinking that Musharraf is doing a bad job, for once in the Pk history do we have a leader now that actually is making a difference, and has made a difference in Pakistan, our economy is better, our military is better, education is on the rise, etc..... Quit looking into the empty words of leaders who took from Pakistan, and give those support that are fighting w/all they have to bring Pakistan to the top!

Daranay ki baat nahi hai Mr. Umair. It just upsets me sooooo much to see that there are still people in Pakistan who support Jerks like Benazir and Nawaz Sharif, I mean the truth is out in the open ppl!!!! If only the Pakistani quam can learn to differentiate between the bad and the good, our country will shine bright like a star...anyway I don't want to go off track, the topic is about the dispute over Kashmir. I think if both the PK and Indian army were to back out of Kashmir, and let the ppl of K live in peace in their own independant nation, everything will be fine. But unfortunately, it's not that easy I guess. Every time India and PK try to have peace talks to resolve the K issue, some one starts to bomb places and ppl, and creates tension between the two nations, and they back away from peace talks. There's another solution to this and that is the International Ct, administered by the UN... they can take up the issue and tell both pk and india to back out and give K back to its ppl, but I guess nothing is easy...If only people can just understand that nothing is forever, we all have to go away one day, so why not live in peace? :flower: take care, and Pakistan Zindabad:pkflag:

Salaam everyone,

Some one wrote up there that why don't we do something to make our country better.. Ofcourse we can, and we should. It's not that hard, on my recent visit to Pakistan, I noticed young kids tossing trash on the streets, walking over small paper flags which had fallen off from Aug 14th celebrations, people just being lazy watching cable tv, and praising Indian movies. I was so hurt, I told one of the kids to pick up the candy rap and throw it in the trash, and he looked at me as if I were a fool. It seems uncommon over there for people to put trash in a trash bin, they'd rather just toss it on the streets, and people should pick up those flags that have fallen of, and put them in a recycle bin (radi paper)So, for those of us who want to make a difference and want to do something for our country, why don't we? start by helping the poor, cleaning up the streets, educating the young and the adults, staying alert with what is happening around the world, watching news and reading the paper. I did not see one single school or college kid reading paper over there, or taking interest in the news. I apolagize if my comment seems as if i'm just blabbing my mouth, I just think that by sitting around and wishing to make a difference will not work, taking action and doing what you believe will make a difference. I know how much it hurts me to see the filthy streets of my country, the poor on the streets begging for money and food, children not having proper care and education, and the future generation of Pakistan glued to their tv sets watching cable. Yes life should be enjoyed, but there should also be prosperity and purpose to it. Thanks all for taking the time to read! peace!!:hi:
