Shabo 0 Posted January 24, 2003 Salaam Mavra I dont have first hand experience of this stereotypical attitude but I can only imagine why this is so. As u can appreciate Pathans have their own language which u could say is their mother tongue (madri zubaan) and in order for them to speak urdu they rely heavily on the pronounciation of their first language.... as they are used to this, it comes naturally. So when they do speak urdu it is with a heavy pashtho/hinko accent.. I know this is not the case with ALL pathans but it is with a majority so it is held against ALL by a minority who think they are far superior to any1 else. As with anything when ppl make fun of others it is for their enjoyment only and they do not care if it will hurt the other person as long as they get a buzz out of it. PATHANNNS :D mera dil chahta hai iss bat par khaqahay lagoon and in fact if not laughters iam smiling for must ! well.....its not stereotype..in fact pathans are pathans.....as dr.abid butt in one of his book says "pethannn aik kaffiat ka namm hai " :D guyz ! u know that :P any how that was only for sake of saying.....pathann are really nice felows staright and simple :) even soo simple if people thiunk they cannot speak good urdu well even many pungabis cannot :) ...so dont bother about speak what ever language but language of "HEART" is the thing u should be lookin for take cares ... mansoor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It is true that all communities have a rotten egg, but you cant blame the mass for it! Be it Pathans, Punjabis, Sindhis or Baluchies have love for all as fellow countrymen.
