About trusting "friends" on the net... well the net is a very dangerous medium, ppl can make out that they are something which in reality they are not. Unless u know them personally, an unsuspecting "friend" can well and truly make u believe they are wonderful when in actual fact they are quite the opposite. Of course this is not the case with EVERYONE u meet on the net so it is best not to judge ppl until u get to know them better. It is not necessarily a case of not trusting others.. but I would say u should be very careful and try and enjoy the friendship that nice and sincere friends do offer via the net :) So u have nothing to lose and everything to gain by being nice to others and even if u r miles apart knowing that u have a distant friend can bring much happiness to ppl who are genuine with their feelings....
