awaz 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Salam to all, Actually I was really sadend by the news that PM Jamali has resigned. He may not have been an angry politician who promised stuff and never fullfilled his promises. He was a simple man, who loved his country and wanted to make a difference. I wish that all of you, would appreciate him and the time he gave to Pakistan. There have been jerk pms such as Benazir and Nawaz Sharif in the past, who would deliver firing speeches, with faulty outcomes and promises and did nothing but took from Pakistan and its people. I applaued Mr. Jamali for his service, if he didn't make a huge difference, he certainly didn't take anything from us either. rukh 25 Posted July 2, 2004 (edited) jamali wasnt love country ...he loved his power ,&money ! if he was sincere then y he didnt took any step agaisnt wrong polices by gov ? he was jut like a Politic TOy ! jalmali is one of the politition who gave dicatation aginst MUJAHIDEEN ..just for favour from usa & musharaaf ! i cant forget his speech about mujahdeen & deene madrais .. . wat he want make a diff? he want to removed Islam .... he want to ruled Usa policies in pakistan ..and nothing more..! i am sorry to say even i cant appricate that type of man who didnt know about Islam &islamic values .. who didnt want to follow Islamic rules of politics but he want to follow usa & mushraaf polices !.. I pray that my country only moves towards peace and prosperity, and is goverened by the right people who love Pakistan dearly. (ameen ameen suma ameen ! awaz 0 Posted July 6, 2004 It is very true that in the past Pakistan has had some very unfair and decisive rulers... however, i think the Musharraf govt has done a lot to recover Pakistan from past chaos. People of Pakistan don't realize that if Musharraf govt is helping the US,this benefits no one but Pakistan. our country needs help from bigger countries. Musharraf govt is trying to promote a modernized Islam in Pakistan, if you want to be successful, you must accept change and move forward, not backwards, and that is what the current govt is doing for Pakistan, they are moving the country fwd, aligning it w/other successful nations in the world. People just come here and talk Islam and stuff, when half of the nation watches Cable tv, and Indian movies all day long, and then they talk about Islam. Musharraf is an open minded modern leader, who is trying to foreseek a govt based on the rules of Islam, only in a modern way, so that we can compete with the rest of the world, and not dwel in the stone age.
