Agony column!

Hi!

Many people suffer from agonies. Some people suffer from problems which r not being solved by their own and r dishearted by themselves. So in this topic, we can share our problems and try to solve it altogether. Its gonna b a gr8 thing for all of us. Like, e.g., i am suffering from alopecia and obesity (a bit). I dont know how to help myself and solve my problem at my own. Now if u know its solution or some tips, plz tell me. Otherwise, tell us ur problem and i'm sure that every1 is gonna try his best for his brother/sister.

Hey Meeri!

Nice thought but do u really think ppl will be "brave" enough to share their problems on the board?? Realistically speaking I dont think so :(

U have taken the first step but the problems u have referred to are of a health related nature... therefore u should seek "medical" advice.. ok we have our very own house Doc here but he is not Qualified just yet and also would u really trust Cardiooo's advice?!!!!!!!  :lol:

CAUSES OF OBESITY:

If we eat more than we need, the surplus calories are stored as fat.For reasons, that are not understood but many have a genetic bases. Some ppl gain gain weight more readily than others. Infact researchers have recently discovered a gene that appears to promote obesity. Hormones may also play a role.

Invariably, eating too much food and exercising too little are the key factors. One theory hold that each person has a biological set point for his/her "ideal" weight, and that the body adjusts its metabolism to maintain this set point whenever the person eats more or less than is expended. Research shows that that we can reset  out set point through gradual weight loss and increased physical activity.

If u r obese,

CONSUME PLENTY OF:

*Liquids, such as water and juice, to wash away metabolic wastes.

EAT MODERSATE AMOUNTS OF:

*Complex carbohydrates, such as pasta, legumes, rice and whole grain products, for energy, vitamins and minerals.

*Fresh vegetables and fruits for vitamins and minerals.

*Fish and skinless poultry for high quality protein and minerals.

*Low-fat dairy products for vitamins and calcium.

AVOID:

*Haigh fat items such as candy,pasteries, fatty meats, alcohol, and potato chips.

CONTROLLING OBESITY:

The biggest challege is not losing weight but keeping it off. Most dieters regain all the weight they've lost widin 1-5 yrs. The only successful route to permanent weight loss is a combination of exercise and diet. HOWEVER, anyone who is 20% or more above their ideal weight shud see a doc. before embarking on any exercise programs or restrictive diet!  :p ... (summary by ooky.. but taken frum a book "Foods that harm, Foods that heal")

Sorry Meeri Ager meri koi baat aap ko nagewar lagi ho to sorry.

Ghultyan Achi hoti hain jo aap kay rastay ka puther sabit hoti hain.

apni problems our ghultyon ko kabhi faramosh nahin karo unhain seenay say laga ker rakho takay kabhi in problum our ghultyoon say kuch sunwarna ho ho to sunwar sako.

Our Aik baat our kay aap ki zindagi main ap ko sirf do hi Powers milti hain aik achai ki taqut our aik burrai ki taqut. Ager aap ka rasta sahih hai to pareshanyan zaroor ain gi our ghultyan bhi hon gi kyoon kay burai ki taqut aap kay rastay main puther zaroor bechai gi.

So apni zindagi main aanny wali Resistance say bhago nahin un ko seenay say lagalo aik to is tarah aap ki tension kum ho gi our mustaqbil main woh seenay say lagi resistance aap ko jeenay ka dhung silhay gi.

topic is nice. good start meeri. but i agree that knowbody will share their problems. well anyways who wants to share v can help them. i m also loosing hairr. haha . meeri u also facing that problem. ahan so use hair oil. olive oil is good. dont b tense always b happy. if u will ask for a modern remedy then use pantene. i wont ever. thats y use mehndi and baison. and the mixture of anda and reetha. or use mild shampoos like egg and herbal aur bioamla. there is a cream cathedalus. i dont think that i have written the proper spelling but u can confirm. this cream can improve ur hair a lot. for ur physical health, if u r gaining weight then do exercise. simple na. and u can drink warm water with a bit of lemon juice added in it and honey.( in the morning) honey is the remedy forall. u know it. green tea is gr8. and dont drink water just after u have eaten something especially rice.

some people have a hormonal problem. they cant lose weight. i know plenty. u shud better consult a doctor. take care  :hello:
