mansoor 0 Posted April 7, 2003 salams all :D friendss i keep on doin lot of things one of them is cookin :) yeahh its always a BIGG thing to taste ur own work .. being short u can share ur recipees wid us tooo BUT u must have tried that first !! :hungry: jeee tooo recipee of the day is "HALWA" lolzz yeah '' first of all take some SOOGI ( i dont know what we call that in English its a constituent of floar ) then mix it in some oil and roast it in oil till it gets brown ....then stop and add some water and same amout of sugar as SOOGI in the pan .. then keep palaying the spoon in the pan un till the cosistensy of the paste become .... sami solid ....then cool it down on room yemp.. and serve afetr meal :hungry: DISCLAIMER >>>> try every recepee on ur own risk regards mansoor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Meeri 0 Posted April 8, 2003 nice recipe mansoor. my father loves that dish very much. but i already knew how to make it and my mom already know how to make sooji ka halwa. she sometimes make it with some amendments. i will post some recipes from around the world, like Scotland, Hungary, Italy, France, Greece etc. as well as Middle East. I'll b waiting for the canadian dishes too ... (ooky :;): ) I'll b waiting for ur recipes ooky, and i believe they r gonna b the best. C ya every1! Bugs 0 Posted April 8, 2003 hm nice mansoor acha idea hai yar chalo mein aaj apko dish banaa sikhata hoon how to make a boiled egg.:D first u take an egg and also a pan fill it with water and put the egg in the pan which is full of water then u put that pan on the oven and light the fire under that and after a few mins ur egg is boiled.:D i will come up with some ne recipie some other day. I would like to try ur recipe for halwa BUT u have 4gotn to provide measurments of the ingredients :P Sooji = semolina!! Hey Bugs move with the times u can poach eggs in the microwave now its much easier and faster!!! :;): I bet Einstein would have loved the microwave hai na Mansoor?!!! Meeri 0 Posted April 9, 2003 Oh thanx Bugs! really, its so wonderful to tell me how to boil an egg. coz i didnt know that. yes! i tried once but the egg was spoiled. however, the egg boiling was not that clear to me. for how long do u have to boil? and what will b its outlook change or when can i identify that its bioled? I'm sure u didnt expect such questions. now the egg boiling also seems a bit complicated :;): . Oh well! Here's a simple recipe from me. Hope u all r gonna enjoy it. Name:- Greek Salad Origin:- Greece Serves:- 4-6 persons Ingredients:- 4 large tomatoes 1 cucumber (sliced) 250g feta cheese (cubed) 24 pitted black olives 4 tbsp lemon juice Salt & pepper 2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano Method:- 1. Cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise, cut out the core and cut each half into 4 wedges. 2. Put the tomatoes into a large salad bowl and add the cucumber, feta chees and olives. 3. Spoon over the olive oil, lemon juice and add salt and black pepper to taste (do not use too much salt as feta is a salty cheese) then toss gently. 4. Sprinkle the salad with oregano and serve. Bugs 0 Posted April 9, 2003 thanx mansoor i had no answer abt the questions of meri ,today i will tell ya how to make boiled rice. :D ingredients rice and salt as mush u like,water. take a cooking utensil,fill half of it with water and put rice in the utensil and salt as mush as u like,and cover the utensil with its cover which is covered with cloth,now that u have covered the utensil place it over the oven and light some fire under it n wait. when u smell some thin cookin,go n chk wether the rice r boiled or not,the best way to chk is to eat them or chk wether the water is still there or not.have rice n enjoy.wiil come with new one next day. shaboo mein pendo admi hoon handi choolay per kam kerta hoon ,microwave use kerna nahee ata. Bugs 0 Posted April 11, 2003 oh i didnt know newton nay gravuty ki thoery di thee,khair koi bat nahee einsatien bhi acha scientist tha us nay kafi kuch kia hai pata nahee kia lekin bera acha admi tha ,hum aksar ikhtay bethtay thay.nice person he was. aik or recipie banana shake a couple of banana n milk n sugar cut the banana in small pieces and put some milk in the jug and drop those pieces of banana in the jug which is filled with milk after that cover the jug n put it over the shaker and turn on the switch,n after a few mins ur shake is ready have fun.
