Hi every1!

Well... i'm feeling very bad today coz our two of the friends had left. Now who's gonna post the recipes to remind me whatever i used to make :weep: If some1 can convey them my message, plz tell them to come back again and forgive whatever had happened and we r sure that it wont happen again. PLEASE! COME BACK FRIENDS!!! :crying:

We Are Really Missin You! :crying:

Oh well...! To those who r still here, here's a nice recipe for u all. I tried it yesterday with some amendments and it was really so delicious... Take a look:

Actual Recipe:-

Name:- Salmon Fish Cakes

Origin:- Scotland

Serves:- 4 Persons

Ingredients:-

160g canned salmon drained and flaked

40g bread crumbs

125g Cheddar cheese, grated

1 egg lightly beaten

50g mayonnaise

50g spring onions, finely sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

Method:-

1. Combine  salmon, half of the breadcrumbs, cheese, egg, mayonnaise and onion in a mixing bowl.

2. Shape into four round cakes, coating each side with remaining breadcrumbs.

3. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook cakes for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Looks:- Very Tasty, Round like Shami Kabbabs but much  bigger in size.

Now take a look at my recipe :P

Name:- Scottish  Fish Kabbabs :)

Origin:- Scotland + Pakistan

Serves:- 4-6 Persons

Ingredients:-

160-170g canned Tuna Fish drained and flaked :P (couldnt find salmon fish in the nearby store)

50-60g breadcrumbs

150g Cheddar cheese, grated (i had a problem with this thing. i told my dad to bring me cheddar cheese but he brought me shredder cheese. Then he went back to bring me cheddar cheese by replacing it with the previous shredded cheese. But when i was about to prepare this recipe, it was written "grated" which means shred cheese)

3 eggs lightly beaten

50g+20g Mayonnaise

1 (almost 50g) spring onions, finely sliced

1+1/2 tbsp olive oil

Method:-

1. Combine tuna, half of the breadcrumbs, cheese, 1 and a half eggs, mayonnaise, olive oil and onion in a mixing bowl.

2. Shape the mixture into a little big shami kabbabs, into six, coating each with the remaining breadcrumbs and the remaining egg.

3. Heat cooking oil in a non-stick frying pan (this fact should b kept in mind that non-stick means "non-chipaknay wala" not "non-dandi wala" as it took me some time to figure it out coz it i had problem in finding "non-dandi wala fry pan" :) ) over a medium heat and cook these kabbabs for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

NOTE:- The kabbabs were a bit big & thick than the normal but i would next time, make them less thick than b4. And next time, i will use more cheese in it. The mixture must be finely mixed and each time u mix an ingredient, mix it b4 adding the other.

I would prefer for u all to make this recipe according to the actual recipe and u can then modify it according to what u think is better.

Hope u all r gonna enjoy it. Coming up with more recipes soon...!

Bye!

Hello Every1!

Origin:- Italy

Serves:- 3 Persons

Ingredients:-

1 tbsp oil

1 onion (chopped)

50g mushrooms (sliced)

2 tbsp tomatoe puree' (or puree)

1 tbsp oregano

1 clove garlic (crushed)

1/4 green pepper (chopped)

300ml stock

Salt & pepper

150g spaghetti

Method:-

1. Put the oil, onion, mushrooms, tomato puree, oregano, garlic and green pepper into a frying pan and fry for few minutes.

2. Stir in the stock, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes (if sauce gets too thick, add a little stock).

Hi to all!

Thanx Mansoor, i was waiting for ur reply. well, the jokes were practical jokes. They really happened to me. about sending my dad to the market, my dad asked me if to bring anything while coming back from the office so i told him to bring it. when he brought wrong one, i told him to leave it and i'll bring it later but he didnt listen to me. so what can i do (even when i'm getting some benefit :P )

Here's another simple recipe of the day.

Name:- Hot Grapefruit Breakfast

Origin:- Jamaica

Serves:- 4 Persons

Ingredients:-

2 ripe grapefruits

1 ripe banana

25g Flakes like Kellogg's All-Bran Flakes with Raisin (optional but adds good recipe)

15g brown sugar (optional)

4 tbsp blackcurrant cordial (like Vimto)

Method:-

1. Cut grapefruit in half. Scoop out pulp and set aside.

2. Mix with grapefruit with the banana and flakes and place mixture in the grapefruit shells.

3. Sprinkle each grapefruit shell with brown sugar and blackcurrant cordial.

4. Place under the grill for a few minutes and serve warm.

Looks:- Okay, like a Fruit Bowl.

Another recipe for u all...!

Name:- Spicy Apple Roll

Origin:- Austria

Serves:- According to number of pastries u make

Ingredients:-

PASTRY:

50g Corn Flakes

225g plain flour

Pinch (chutkee) of salt

100g butter cut into pieces

1 egg beaten

1-2 tbsp icing sugar, for sprinkling

FILLING:

100g butter, melted

450g cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced

75g sugar

75g raisins

1 tbsp ground mixed spice

Method:-

1. To make the pastry, sift flour and salt into a bowl, add butter and rub in until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

2. Add beaten egg and mix to a smooth dough. Chill for 30 minutes in refrigerator.

3. Preheat oven to 230 degrees Celcius. Roll pastry out to 38x25cm rectangle and brush with melted butter. Mix remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over melted butter. Roll up like a Swiss rol. Brush top with melted butter.

4. Bake 15 minutes (i mean for 15 min :P ), then reduce heat to 190 degrees Celcius and bake for a further 15-20 minutes. Cool, then sprinkle with icing sugar.

Looks:- A relative of (i.e. something like) Pastry and Swiss Roll.
