Hotmail or yahoo?

... you can't block somebody's ID on yahoo without opening the mails while it is possible in hotmail....

As you might have noticed in the new interface of Yahoo, now you have the ability to block emails without opening them like Hotmail

but one thing i have noticed in hotmail thats not on yahoo.

if u have forgooten password and u dont know ur secret ques as well as profile, even then u can get ur password back if u tell all the old passwords. this option is in hotmail.

in yahoo, if u forget these things or these informations are being changed by somebody else, then u r a goner!

that's y i hate YAHOO mera id....... i have lost it.... due to PASSWORD :(

while now hotmail site is based on the .NET technology

currently hotmail is much better than the yahoo site

For those who says Hotmail is best than Yahoo

Hotmail sometimes bounces your email saying "unrouteable mail domain "hotmail.com" "

Currently hotmail is having this problem, there are lot more even in new LOOK hotmail.

   Hotmail lacks POP3

Asim: I tried but can not make this working, so please share the step how to configure Outlook Express for Yahoo mails.

a1b2c3 POP3 for yahoo.com mail is for paid members only and for yahoo.co.uk email its free.

You can configure it easily as u configure other POP accounts of ISPs

As Waqas has already mentioned that the pop/smtp access for @yahoo.com accounts is paid

but for @yahoo.co.uk its totally FREE

Further more, for @yahoo.com accounts the diskspace is 4 MB but for yahoo.co.uk accounts the disk space is 6 MB

Even thought the company is the same but if u localize your account while signing up u get more of wwhat the Yahoo USA has to offers.

now another question arises.... How to signup for yahoo.com or yahoo.co.uk accounts?

its simple... just go to yahoo.com... open the signup page and at the option titled Language and Content select.. USA for @yahoo.com.........UK for @yahoo.co.uk.......... Canada for @yahoo.ca and so on....

Home u wont have a problem signing up for a Yahoo UK account and setting it up for FREE pop and SMTP server and configure it with Outlook Express

One interesting thing which you can notice is:

"Nothing is FREE in America"

and this is first sentense you learn when you arrive here.
