Well u know what personally I don't have any problem wid luv marriages but u know what tho.... it's a fact that divorce rates are less in arranged marriages. And PS my mom won't let me marry someone I love! She doesn't belive in loev marriages. So I guess I wud have to go wid no. luv marraiges are not always successful! K tata! ooky/cookie! Bugs 0 Posted April 4, 2003 luv marriages mostly r unsucessful,reason is simple that b4 havin someone u feel that u r alone and wish if u could have it,u want that person in any case,but when u have him/her u tend to give less attention cause that one is in ur grasp and u can have it any time u want,no more hurdles,its human nature when u dont have anythin u want it but when u get it u dont care nay more,same is case with luv,u have ur luv infront u but u cant be with it all the time acordin to sharia,when u have ur luv in ur grasp and there is no rstriction the human nature comes in play and u dont care any more ie why luv marriages shouldnot be priority of one. marriage is like a pact and its fun also as u tend to know the other person through the passage of time,but in case of luv,u knoiw him already so where is the learnin process and fun.ie y luv marriages fail mostly. a num of arguements r also here but u cant discuss all. ..................bugs................... too ung to die Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am not married so i might be wrong but my techers [who have a BIG contribution in building myself] advises us not to mary without the will of our parents even in Love marriage. and i think my teachers are right because if parents are not agreed with love marriage then one's have to live alone. aquarian1 0 Posted April 10, 2003 hi everybody nice topic... but anyone of u is married? and love marriage specially?? the greatest problem in love marriages is EXPECTATIONS.. after marriages when u dont find that thing in ur partner u r just ******** anyway love marriages can be only successful if u accept that ur partner is not perfect he/she is a human... he/she is now feel more freedom to fight with u to love u more coz no fear or very less fear to lose u... u just need to understand ur beloved after marriage and the world be a real heaven for u... that time is gone when parents were used to do best decissions for children... now even they do that we dont accept that atleast mostly dont coz of generation gap.. thing is go on with ur life but dont forget ur parents... but the problem is when u r in love u cant see anything else just ur beloved and after marriage u r more possesive and sensitive about her/him ... always remember possesiveness hurts sometime... WE just thank Allah every moment that WE r one now.. u know what? we met on internet.. we spent 6 months withour even exchanging pictures... and now just after two years of our first meeting we r one... hayy you Cute_ooky16 i am in front of u as an example that u can find love on internet... i dont wanted to share this but its okk...
