fati 0 Posted May 12, 2003 "Are we really helping our foes" "Are we really helping our foes?" The answer is yes. but how? Nowadays, this has become a great issue that the Non-Muslim companies i.e. of Israel and America and the products manufactured by them should be banned. A lot of people had participated in doing a strike against Mc Donalds and KFC. Colleges are not sailing Pepsi and other cokes manufactured by these companies. Many posters and advertisements are being printed regarding this issue. These advertisements demand that everything should be banned that is being manufactured by Israeli and American companies. Forexample. Pepsi, 7up, Coca Cola, products of Lever Brothers, Proctal and Gamble, Colgate and Pamolive company,Nike, etcc But the question is, can we people stop using all these things? Can we? We can avoid many things but we can't quit them all because if we are using these things, its not totally our fault. We can't be fully blamed for that because much of the products similar to these are not manufactured by our country or the products that are manufactured are not of good quality. Forexample, just one or two detergents are manufactured by Pakistani companies. Not a single beauty soap is made by Pakistani company (according to the list of products manufactured by Pakistani companies... advertised by Jamat-e-Islami).We don't have any choice. What can we do? The profit gained by these companies is being used in anti-islamic actions. Are only America and Israeil our foes? What about India. If we are helping America and Israel than we are also helping India a lot. I chated with an Indian and he said that Pakistanis are really dumb. They are so much interested in watching Indian movies and this gives a lot of profit to India. An Economics teacher told that Indias economical condition is getting better because of the great demand of their movies. Its not their economic condition about which I am concerned, its the same thing which I have mentioned before i.e. the profit is being used in anti-islamic acts, thats to destroy Muslims. What can they do when the Muslims are inviting trouble themselves? If the Pakistani people stop watching their movies then India will have to face a big loss but who cares here. Nobody can stop the smuggling of Indian movies. A lot of people were really sad on the ban of Indian channels. If there won't be any Indian movies..... than what will they do? Like we cannot boycott some life-saving medicines but we can change out shampoo, beauty products and other things like that. Waiting for YOUR (whosoever is reading this) views. fati 0 Posted May 17, 2003 so i think there is no place for such important topics. u people really dont bother. i mean much of u. the topics relating to jokes, love, are getting overloaded. but only 4 people contributed in the topic started by mansoor in guftugu i.e. Hussain, shaheed e insaniat. many people viewed it but just 4 bothered to reply. y is that so. there r many contributors , whose contributions have exceeded hundreds. they r in 200, 400 and even 900 but alas! no response from them. r u people too busy to give a look at it. despite of the fact of class differences, v all muslims believe that imam Hussain (as) was the grand son of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) and he was a pious personality and an important personality of Islamic history, u people didnt bother to write back. thats really sorrowful. and i mean it! this time i m not joking. secondly this topic is a burning issue. but u people are always so light and cool , just prefer jokes...dolefulllll Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You are 100% true that people do so many thing because its "IN" the fashion like smoking, eating out in restaurants etc. I think we, as Pakistani, are like sheep (most of them). any one can drive us the way they want it to be. We must change this attitude. In my opinion we should open our eyes now because its been more then 55 yrs of independence. iamshani 0 Posted May 21, 2003 Salamz here to all..! wel. first of all i shud too pay thx to Asim to pin this topic at the top as it is a matter of all of us..PAkis...! concerning the fact tht we ppl wish to have a foreign drink with a foreign food wearing a foreign suit and sitting in a foreign environment of foreign restaurant..jus bcuz itz supposed to have a standard of high CALIber.. wel..infact it doesn't matter tht u eat foreign foods or drink foreign drinks or wear foreign suits..bcuz a suit is a suit and food is a food...they r essentials..BUT the matter is tht IS OUR MONEY PAYED AS A BILL BEING USED FOR ACTIVITIES AGAINST MUSLIMS ??? wel..if u guys live in Khi and offer Jumma prayers regularly then u must know tht approximately in evry mosque a sermon regarding this issue was said by the Pesh Imams..i go to Noor-e-Iman Masjid, the Pesh Imam there sermoned tht itz not a sin to use foreign stuff until u come to know tht itz haram or used in anti-Muslim activities..! So friendz..some drinks have been confirmed to be used in anti-Muslim activities by their profitz..so we shud ban them thnking tht itz profit might kill an innocent Muslim..however u can use the stuff abt which noone is confirmed tht itz profit is used in anti-Muslim activities or not..!
