The only difference is that a friend can be a boy or a girl and a boyfriend is a boy. Well I got lots of boyfriends (hey not luvers tho) and I got lots of girlfriends. Waise Pakistan mai difference hai but here in Canada I dun think there is a major difference. Well not for me... if I have a crush on sumone or luv or anything like that... well I just say ohh yeah cad is my crush or luver or baby or whatever.. whereas the term boyfriend... I use it for all my guy friends! like Bugs is my boyfriend or Meeri is my boyfriend or mansoor is my boyfriend...... but it doesn't mean that I have a crush on all these ppl.. it just means that they r my friends n ..... samez wid the girls... I call ma girl friends..... girlfriends... like yup Heta is ma girlfriend... it doesn't mean that there is sumthing goin on between us..... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww gross! Anyway, i think bf or gf is different than just f. bf or gf woh hota hay jo k humara bohot hee acha dost ho but f is an ordinary friend who's just a friend.... u cant share ur privacies with fs like bfs or gfs. Woh alag baat hay k society nay usay love k lyay specific kar dya hay. Hota to love he hay par acha love not bazari love. By putting girl or boy is to particularize the particular friend's gender... but to some extent, there is no difference b/w them... Talking about e-bf or e-gf, i think its one of the new terms about friends recently developed. However, i also have bf and e-f (i.e. u ooky :D and some other too). But according to doctors, making e-friends is not good for health psychologically.... Anyway, You all r my E-Friends but some of u r my e-bfs and e-gfs... :D Bye!
