sidd 0 Posted July 12, 2003 hi ROSHAAn nice topic yes we r living in male dominating society where no one cares abt women, no one hear them and no one think abt them wht they think ,wht they want and whts their feelings men is not interested to think abt that.its really a curse, women is mother, wife, sister & daughter so we must respect her and cares for her feelings In love S I D D
Asim 0 Posted July 13, 2003 congrats ROSHAAN on starting this new topic and creating awareness about this issue. I have observed this too. Its very painful. this whole world has the male gender dominated. I think we should respect their feelings, thoughts and views. We must respect them because they are always around us as a mother, sister , daughter and wife. Asim

Shabo 0 Posted July 13, 2003 Salaam All Nice topic Roshaan!! Females have been created by Allah (SWT) as a companion for Males & to increase the Islamic population... this does not mean that they r less superior to men. In Islam a woman stands equal to a man however in case of dispute a man has the final say.... love, respect, understanding etc r to be shown towards a male or female... after all we r all civilised human beings. We must promote love and friendship not hate! Granted there are MORE male leaders of nations today but so what... they worked hard for their jobs and they achieved their goals... this does not make men more superior it just means women have other things to do to keep them occupied!! Hey Tabu.. ur point on "call girls" is valid yes they do exist and it is very shameful but they have their reasons for resorting to this sort of stuff... so who r we to judge them? Respect cannot be demanded it must be earned! Sx

Nazish 0 Posted July 17, 2003 salaamz allz first of all i only read what newbie posted cuz i was way toooooooooooo lazy to read all the topics. anyway, so here is my opinion. Quran does Give Women all the rights they need. and if country is run by islamic rules then women will have all the rights they have. for example. Quran gives women the rights to vote and the right to own property. but as in usa, women had to fight for both. so women do have many rights, it's only for us to accept what Quran says. in usa women do have rights they want, but still as i said above, they had to figiht for these rights but islamic women already had these rights guranteed in the Quran. now adays ppl ignore the fact that women do have rights. we need to acknowledge those. tcz allz Allah Hafiz lovez Naz
TimePass 0 Posted July 17, 2003 It depends Nazish. Do u think in Pakistan they get to have all rights in various rural settings? Even in cities and other places, women want to be kurbani ka bakra that is y they do not get what they deserve.
fati 0 Posted July 18, 2003 women dont want to b a kurbani ka baqra. but they r always selected for this purpose by so called daring men.
Nazish 0 Posted July 18, 2003 salaamz Fati and time pass i totally agree wid u guyz. u see mein pakistan zaada nahi rahi so i don't know abt it that much. but yes women are not "kurbani ka bakra" and in pak they don't have much right but what i was saying is religion does give women more right but the male don't realize it. or shall i say they don't want to realize the fact that we do have Same right as they do. and since these rights are given to us and if we don't get them, then we have to fight for them. cuz they are our rights. tataz allz lovez, Naz Allah Hafiz

Nazish 0 Posted July 19, 2003 salaamz allz Bugs i do agree wid u. and i would like to add a comment that pakistan had a women Prime minister (power as of a president, a high authority) but western countries like USA, never had a women president or Vice president. and yes women do have rights ini Pakistan. but if their was a job. and a man and a woman applied for this. both wid same qualification. i think that the man would get the job, don't u think so? plz give me ur comments tataz allz lovez, Allah Hafiz Naz
