Heyyy I know it was a long time coming but I got a recipe for u.. so here goes;-

Hot and Spicy Chicken with Raita

Prep and cook time : 30 mins to 1 hour

Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 hot and spicy chicken drumsticks and thighs or 12 chicken wings.. (already marinated in tikka masala!)

½ cucumber, finely diced

15ml spoon freshly chopped mint

15ml spoon freshly chopped coriander

300ml natural yogurt

salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Barbecue the chicken drumsticks or thighs over a moderate heat for 30-40 minutes, or the chicken wings for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally.

Mix together the cucumber, mint, coriander and yogurt then chill until required. Season to taste just before serving.

Serve the chicken with the raita.. accompanied by rice or roti's..

Try it out.. let me know wot u think!!

OK here's a SPECIAL recipe for u guys :rolleyes:

Friendship Feast!!

1 cup Courtesy

1/2 cup Patience

1/4 cup Forgiveness

2 cups Understanding

1 cup Encouragement

2 tsp. Unselfishness

METHOD

Stir in a pinch of Praise.

Add a dash of Wit and Humor.

Season with Faith and Confidence,

Put it in a 16 x 9 pan, bake on 350° for a Lifetime

and serve with generous portions of Love and Kindness.

Have A Tasty Day!!!

NAme : Desi cookies

Origon : Punjabi

hm lets start ....

First of alll take some Brown Sugar ... Mix it in water

... boil it untill its Viscosity resembles to " Mobil Oil" ( :P sorry at the moment i cant think any other thin except it )

after that mix the Past wid Wheat Floar .. thoree see SUGEE , add ZERA .. after that inn sab cheezoonn koo GOONDH lain ..

CUT .. cookies from it and then put them in Hot shalloow oil.. untill these are Brown :D

hmm i Gurantee the Best taste wid a Zaberdast cup of tea :food:

friendship cake ki recipee kisi na batai to thi yahan per. usi sa kahein ke tasveer bhejay. lol

this is the recipee for bean pate.

Mixed Bean Pate

INGREDIENTS

14 oz can mixed beans,drained

2 tbsp olive oil

juice of 1 lemon

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tbsp chopped cilantro

2 scallions, chopped

salt and pepper

shredded scallions, to garnish

Preparation Time 45 mins

Cooking Time 0 mins

Serves 4

Nutritional Information

Calories 126

Sugars 3g

Protein 5g

Fat 6g

Carbohydrates 13g

Saturates 1g

METHOD

1 Rinse the beans thoroughly under cold running water and drain well.

2 Transfer the beans to a food processor and process until smooth. Alter-natively, place the beans in a bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork or potato masher.

3 Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cilantro and scallions and blend until fairly smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4 Transfer the pate to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

5 Garnish with shredded scallions and serve.

Lentil Croquettes

These croquettes are an ideal light lunch served with a crisp salad and a sesame seed paste dip.

INGREDIENTS

11/4 cups split red lentils

1 green bell pepper, seeded, and finely chopped

1 red onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp lemon juice

2 tbsp chopped unsalted peanuts

2 1/2 cups water

1 egg, beaten

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp cayenne pepper

4 tbsp vegetable oil

salt and pepper

salad greens and herbs, to serve

Preparation Time 10 mins

Cooking Time 55 mins

Serves 4

Nutritional Information

Calories.... 409 Sugars....... 5g

Protein...... 19g Fat.............. 17g

Carbohydrate. 48g Saturates... 2g

METHOD

Put the lentils in a large saucepan with the bell pepper, onion, garlic, garam masala, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, lemon juice, and peanuts. Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed.

2Remove the mixture from the heat and leave to cool slightly. Beat in the egg and season to taste with salt and pepper. Leave to cool completely.

3With floured hands, form the mixture into 8 rectangles.

4Mix the flour, turmeric, and cayenne pepper together on a small plate. Roll the croquettes in the spiced flour mixture to coat thoroughly.

5Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the croquettes, in batches, and fry, turning once, for about 10 minutes, until crisp on both sides. Transfer to warm serving plates and serve the croquettes with crisp salad greens and fresh herbs.
