u know what, its wrong to say that females hide their age, but the correct thing is, adults hide their age. right. i know it is.!!!, :D

so my dear brother its a famous saying, which one of my best teacher told us in our last year of school tht "always hide ur real Age plus ur excat Salary "

Reason is tht (cuz im a girl so i'll discuss abt girls age) ... as supposition tht if someone tells u her true age like 20 than after 10 years if u meet her & she doesnt look like of age 30,,, even if she wud be looking of 25 cuz of her fitness ... but at tht time u'll be know her correct age & definitely u'll tell others tooo abt her correct one ;) & at tht time she will feel guilty k kya waqat tha jo iss insaan ko apni sahi umar bata di thee... bechari apne ser ko peete gi uss waqat so thts y its better not to tell ur true age :P

i think u'll get it now & be concious for future for urself too
