May Allah bless u always and may there be many many many many many many more to come Over to ur questions Sanum... hmmm good thinking by u, this sure takes me down memory lane 1.WHO INTRODUCE U TO CY. A friend of mine sent me a coolyar greeting card, upon cheking the greeting there was a link with the words "become part of our new/interesting community" (or words to that effect!!) I dont know .. till this day I keep asking myself.. why I cliked on that link, when I had never before then and have not since cliked on links received from greeting card sites! I suppose it was meant to be and from there I got to know about the CY community... 2.REASON FOR JOINING. The CooLYar Team's invatation to join write-up was so friendly and inviting that I had to register myself and become a member!! 3.UR FIRST DAY ON CY Now ur asking!! OK as far as my memory serves me I created a topic and every 2nd or 3rd day Waqas n Asim would reply and then I would reply n tried my best to encourage other members to participate too.. otherwise it was a triangle between us 3 aaaaaaaaah the good old days!!! 4.TO WHOM U ADDRESED ( ON UR FIRST DAY) I replied to Asim's introductory post.. where he gave a little background info on CY and how it came to be... I was so impressed that at such a young age himself n Waqas had achieved sooooo much, this MADE me reply and the rest, as they say, is history!! I havent looked back since! 5.THE TOPIC U ENJOYED MOST Over the years there have been some very innovative topics created on the forums some more enjoyable than others but the one that sticks in my mind is the Lhr v Khi aham aham "DEBATE".. At first I replied with "no comment" n Waqas encouraged me to put across my views.. I even surprised myself with my reply "Lahore Pak ka dil hai to Karachi Pak ki jaan!!!"... heyy after all meri koshish thi k laraiee ko mitaiya jaiey well that topic sure did get heated but... thats history now!! Like Sanum I also enjoyed the "ajeeb o ghareeb" topic the tapori lingo is just soooooooo funny n especially gettin NaDaN n Rukh to try it out was fun!! 6.ANY HARD FEELINGS ABT CY OR ANY MEMBER No hard feelings NOW ;) I know over the months there have been a few instances where emotions got the better of me but thats me livin up to my star sign I do make up much faster than I break up, but that's me n I cant change it however with 1 or 2 members (mentioning NO names!!) they have left a lasting impression with me.. their pompous words n name dropping nature has totally put me off them. It's a shame but I cant bring myself to forgive what they have said.. as u all know (& I think Waqas' signature relays the same message, that) words once spoken cannot be taken back.. and sometimes these few words damage everything!! 5.LESSON LEARNT FROM CY. Over the years I have learnt ALOT from CY and its members... It really has opened my eyes to the nature of ppl ie how some ppl can be VERY good n some ppl can be VERY bad. The love n respect I have received from my fellow members has been phenominal.... Asim n Waqas have been superb and VERY supportive of me and my views throughout my association with cy and till my dying days I will NEVER 4get it! Yes ok there have been ups n downs (ie the topic cooooolll hinted at) but hey we got thru it.. I personally think havin little disagreements is bad but making up afterwards is the main thing.. to 4giv n 4get is the best policy (I've maintained this concept 99.9%!!) Having met such wonderful and caring ppl through a website is so rare and sometimes I think is this all for real or just a dream?? Every time I chek out CY I know its for real and I'm grateful for Admin who in good times n bad have maintained this site through shear hard work n determination... My wishes r with them from now till eternity!! Maybe most ppl dont know exactly how much work is put in to keep this site live... but I'm beginning to know now.. staying awake ALL NITE I know I could never do that... Waqas ab tho sau jao nahiiiiiiiiiii not bcoz my post is sooooo long but bcoz its comin to 5am PST :P OK I think I should stop now.... My last words.. Sometimes words r said in anger but they r not meant so severely, but once they have been spoken its too late to retreive them. My only concern is that I dont say anything harmful which I may regret later... There is a saying which goes like this: "no man is an island" this means that no one person can live in this world without having to interact with other ppl or won't ever need their help during their life time.. Acha so now answers 2 ur questions.. 1.WHO INTRODUCE U TO CY. - I was chatting wid my aunt frum Quetta.. she told me abt it. 2.REASON FOR JOINING - I was just looking up websites and when I saw it. I fell in love wid it (first sight) ;) 3.UR FIRST DAY ON CY - was awesum! well I posted stuff and when I saw the response and ppl actually replying to my posts, it was the best thing ever in the world because usually kabhi kabhi mai bhi apni nahi sunti! lolz... 4.TO WHOM U ADDRESED ( ON UR FIRST DAY)- not one specific person I think it was Shabo, Mansoor and em' 5.THE TOPIC U ENJOYED MOST- hmm every topic!!! especially the embarassing moments in smile section! 6.ANY HARD FEELINGS ABT CY OR ANY MEMBER- yes sumone did tick me off - not once but a lot of times but I m not a typical girly and I forgive her! (Mansoor if ur reading it - ) remember once I sed that the worst punishment (for the person who screwed up) is to forgive him/her. 5.LESSON LEARNT FROM CY - Life is not perfect!!! alrite see yaz... ttyl.
