cute_ooky 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Assalamualikum everyone, well one of our very good friends, Charmer has asked me to teach her Pushto! ;) I thought it would be a good idea to start a topic.. As you can see from the subject, I haven't limited this to Pushto only.. So if there is any other language that you guys wanna learn.. lolzzzz.. and you think that there is someone in this forum who knows it and doesn't mind teaching it to you.. to I say go ahed! I would've posted it in Education but sad to say there are only 4 or 5 members who check it out .. woh bhi once in a while.. outta the blue! So I wanted to have fun through this and give you guys a chance to have fun.. waise bhi kisi ko sikhana sawab ka kaam hai.. so lets learn and teach and have fun at the same time.. Ok abt me.. well as you know I am a Pathan... so if you guys wanna learn Pushto (Pukhto) words... (hey better not be swear words!! ;) ) to go ahead ask! Seenga is pretty straightforward too.. aur ye bhi isi tarah bolte hain no tricks!! I am good Zo Kha yum pronunciation: Zo as in (zordaar.. waise zo...) Kha is like (Khan wala kha) Yum is ( u know how we say sumthing is delicious.. yum yum) waisa yum.. :P I am really really mad!! Zo de wakh dera ghussa yam Pronunciation: Zo again same as abuv.. de (like de do.. give me waisa de) wakh (waqt ki tarah bolo lekin KH use kero QT ki bajaye) dera (dera like emm .. dera Ismail khan .. DI khan.. yar jagah ka naam suna hai? haan wuhi) ghussa to pata hai.. aur yam again yum yum wala!! Theek hai.. acha aj ke liey itna kafi hai.. mai to thak gayi.. baqi kal.. Aimon. I don't know why, . Even when I got my First interview to get admitted in the University, The Dean asked after I entered the room, " Pakhtoona " , And I didn't knoe what to say. Mujhay to bohat maza aya ga. @ Cute_ Ooky . You must be a teacher, I mean the way you are teaching Pronunciation, It's really Great. Well Keep smiling to nahi but I can tell you how to say Be happy because "Stay happy" is what us Pathans use the most.. more often.. Ok so.. STAY HAPPY.. Khushala oosa.. Pronunciation: Khush (urdu mai jaise kehte hain) aala ( is like u know ala hathiar waise pronouncekerte hain) so khushala and oosa is pronounced bilkul aise hi jaise tum ise parh rahi ho :) Hope it helped!
